In these works, painting becomes a territory where thought seeks to expand beyond its own boundaries. Clay, evoking the matter of the brain, and color compositions, as patterns that precede and give form to language, intertwine in a space where matter seems to become thought, and thought, matter.
A question continues to resonate throughout my recent work: How does the mind inscribe itself in matter? How does it extend, traverse, and permeate it, until the boundaries dissolve between what we think and what we are made of?
