El vacío como exploración formal de la observación es un proyecto realizado con el apoyo del Sistema Nacional de Creadores (FONCA), en el que investigué la relación entre el vacío y nuestros sistemas de percepción visual. Durante el primer año, abordé el vacío desde la ciencia, explorando su naturaleza y su papel en la constitución de la materia. La física cuántica estudia los fenómenos que ocurren en el mundo subatómico, donde el vacío revela una complejidad que aún guarda numerosos misterios.
Mi interés por estas investigaciones surge de una pregunta fundamental: ¿qué nos revela la naturaleza de la materia sobre quiénes somos? Las piezas que conforman este proyecto son una reflexión plástica sobre el vacío, sus fenómenos y las posibilidades de explorarlo a través de la observación y la pintura.

The Void as a Formal Exploration of Observation is a project developed with the support of the National System of Creators (FONCA), in which I investigated the relationship between the void and our visual perception systems. During the first year, I approached the void from a scientific perspective, exploring its nature and its role in the constitution of matter. Quantum physics studies phenomena that occur at the subatomic level, where the void reveals a complexity that still holds many mysteries.
My interest in this research stems from a fundamental question: What can the nature of matter reveal about who we are? The works that make up this project offer a visual and material reflection on the void, its phenomena, and the possibilities of exploring it through observation and painting.
